Q: Is there a list of supplies for my child’s school / grade / classroom?

A: For Warren and Mindess students, you will receive a list specific to your child’s classroom from your child’s new teacher some time in mid-August.  For Middle School students, supply lists are posted by grade on the Ashland Middle School website.

Q: My child is starting a new daycare.  How do I change his after school bus drop-off location?

A:  Any bus-related changes, questions, or issues should be directed towards Diane Goudy in the Superintendent’s Office.  Her email is dgoudy@ashland.k12.ma.us.  It is also always a good idea to convey your bus changes to your child’s school in writing.

Q: How do I set up online payment for school lunches?

A: Once you have received your child’s 4-digit school code, you can set up one-time or automatic payments for school lunches at https://www.myschoolbucks.com/

Q: My child is going into the Neighborhood this year.  Do you have a binder that you recommend?

A: We recommend a binder that is 2″-3″ in ring size with an inner organizational component, such as the Case-It Open Tab 2″ Binder or something similar.   There are versions with or without handles, with full zipper closure or with a Velcro tab.  Those choices are entirely up to you!

Q: My child is going into 6th Grade.  What does she need for her locker?

A: Our good friends at ASHPAC will be selling shelves for 6th Grade lockers at the 6th Grade Orientation.  Most Middle Schoolers report that having a lock on their locker is too stressful when they are rushing between classes.  Most students leave their lockers unlocked.
